The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili has issued an act of pardon on the occasion of the Annunciation Day and pardoned 9 female inmates.
According to the Presidential Administration, all convicts have one or more underage children, and the crimes committed by them are not included in the category of violent crime.
All nine convicts will leave prisons today.
